Happy New Year! 2020 has already brought MANY amazing changes for both my business and my family. Something about starting a new year with a fresh new slate is so invigorating to me. Here are some of the awesome 2020 changes I’m talking about.
BUSINESS – I’m so excited to launch this rebrand that I’ve been working really hard on for the last few months. I’ve got this fresh new website and branding that I feel better fits my personality. It’s so awesome to be at a point finally in my business where I can feel like I can be unapologetically myself. I’m excited to feature more of myself throughout this new website. So not only will you get to know the pretty pictures I take, but you’ll also get to know the real ME. That feels so good!! I love that I see myself more in this new website.
With this new website though, it means that I’m starting FRESH with my blog. Unfortunately there was a mistake in the transfer and I lost my old blog! π I was able to save some of it, but overall I lost most of it. Over the next few months, I’m going to try to recreate my favorites and post-date them as I go. That’ll take time though and I’m a little frustrated, but that’s the tradeoff to have this gorgeous new site!
**So new visitors to my blog, rest assured that I do in fact have prior years of work and experience haha!**
PERSONAL – For those who know me or follow me on social media, you’ll know that my husband has been deployed for a year with the Army National Guard. This was a really hard experience for us because we had our first baby in July. He unfortunately wasn’t allowed to come home and had to miss the birth. This last month was a very very special time for us because he finally got home! When he met and held our son for the first time it was sooooo amazing. Here’s our reunion video if you want to cry today lol.
It’s been so amazing having him home and adjusting to our new life and new family of 3. I’ll be pausing sessions for a couple months so just soak in this love and family time that I’ve been missing for so long. If you need me, you can find me cuddled up with my family! π
